Formed in 1998, Allegro MicroSystems is a global leader in power and sensing solutions for motion control and energy-efficient systems. Allegro design and develop sensor ICs, application-specific analog power ICs and photonics components that meet the needs of the most demanding applications. As the number one supplier of magnetic sensor IC solutions and a leading supplier of power ICs and photonics, Allegro have developed a track record of applying innovative circuit design, process and packaging technologies to deliver highly reliable, high performance solutions that precisely measure motion, speed, position and current.
Automotive:
Allegro's innovations translate to increased driving range for an electric vehicle, smaller and more reliable power conversion systems, improved safety and efficiency of motor and power management systems and safer and more reliable autonomous driving.
Industrial and Infrastructure:
Allegro's technologies enable factory automation, improve reliability to avoid factory downtime, accurately measure current to support increased energy efficiency for high density data centers and green energy applications, and reduce the solution footprint to lower total system cost.
Allegro's leadership team drives a culture of innovation from the top, collectively holding nearly 130 US patents. With decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, they also pride themselves on giving back to their communities—participating in organizations like Big Brothers/Big Sisters and National Public Radio (NPR).
